Our Club Membership
The Fundy Trail Riders Snowmobile Club was incorporated in 1991. At that time we had only a very few members. Since that time, many trails have been created locally in Zone 8 (which is the FTRSC Zone) as well as Provincially. Our trails are groomed on a regular basis and we are proud of the supberb job that the members operating the groomers are doing keeping our trails smooth and safe. Each year since the invention of snowmobiling in 1927 (yes - 1927), many advancements in snowmobiles, accessories, specialized clothing have, with the addition many kilometers of trails have made this wintertime outdoor sport very popular - to the extent that our membership for the year 2007/2008 is 430 members. We welcome all new-comers to this sport as prospective members to the FUNDY TRAIL RIDERS SNOWMOBILE CLUB.
As one club member puts it.....
" Back in 1988, I can remember when the talks started about getting Fundy Trail Riders started. I even remember a few of the names we thought of then. It's great to see the progress not only our club that came from those infant stages. But to the Clubs and trail networks that we have Today. Lets hope they are here for many more years.
My riding Experience goes back more then 29years...and Being a Member that first year in 1991. What a difference from then to now."
